The Challenge
Healthcare exists. Access is the challenge.
Across the mountain communities of AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, healthcare infrastructure exists—but geography, limited clinical capacity and fragmented pathways can make appropriate care difficult to reach. Patients may need to navigate between community health workers, clinics, doctors, laboratories, pharmacies and hospitals, often with limited coordination between them.

Our Approach
Connecting healthcare from the community up
Foremost Health starts with what communities already have—clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, health workers and community infrastructure—and connects them through coordinated care pathways. We strengthen existing capacity rather than duplicating it.
Evolve, not revolutionise. We work with local knowledge and existing health assets, adapting proven approaches to the specific needs of each valley and community.
Strengthen before building new. We start with existing clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, health workers and community infrastructure—connecting and strengthening existing capacity before adding new infrastructure where genuinely needed.
Digital, and phygital. We use low-bandwidth, offline-capable tools to connect community health workers, clinics, and patients, while ensuring that digital care complements—not replaces—face-to-face human connection.
